.A strange phenomena occurs every year when the clock strikes Labor Day: everyone conveniently forgets that it’s still 85 degrees outside and they lose their minds over a sticky-sweet, scalding Pumpkin Spice latte.
At Zevia we said, “Why does this one fruity* beverage get all the glory?” People need options!
Also, overly sweet drinks don’t really match the vibe these days. The world is crazy. Sh*t doesn’t make sense. A lot of us are feeling a lil’ salty. (Or, if you’re me, super salty!)
Enter: Zevia Salted Caramel, a delicious seasonal Soda for Salty People.
When it comes to feeling salty, no one gets it more than the baristas who are stuck preparing everyone else’s sweet treats.
Our Salty Support Group commercial spots put a humorous spin on a support group for burned-out baristas who discover the one beverage that can assuage their anxieties (hint: it’s not coffee).
*Yes, pumpkins are a fruit! I couldn’t believe it either.

I concepted, wrote, produced & directed these commercials.
To create the spots on an ultra-low budget, I also handled many aspects of production including casting, locations, production design, insurance/permitting, and sourcing a life-size coffee cup costume (fun!).
